PR PROPOSAL FOR The Ghosts of England
February – November 2025
The Ghosts of England is a touring production which explores what it means to call England home, told through the mediums of dance, live music and storytelling. The work asks the questions:
-
Who are we?
-
Where do we come from?
-
Where are we going?
…as a nation today. Anthony and his collaborators blend English folk tales and stories from mixed communities across England to shine a new light on how we can all be proud to call these Islands home.
The campaign’s primary objective is to raise awareness for performance opportunities and wrap-around activities for the project with target audiences. We aim to ensure that The Ghosts of England is visible in regional/national broadcast and print media including the web as well as in specialist regional arts/lifestyle publications to ensure maximum coverage, public interest, and engagement for the workshops/programme. This exposure and coverage will also assist with securing bookings for the touring production in 2026.
